Job description

Job Summary: E3 Sales Manager is responsible for leading customer relationships, driving sales growth, and supporting E3’s expansion across the oil and gas market, with emphasis and working knowledge in the completions/hydraulic fracturing & stimulation industry lifecycle to holistically understand the drilling‑to‑completions lifecycle. This role manages a defined territory and works closely with operations, service, and business development teams across all E3 companies and product lines to ensure that customers receive consistent value, technical support, and reliable performance from E3’s equipment and services.

The Sales Manager plays a key role in developing strategic accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting the company’s response to RFPs and tenders. By using market intelligence—such as drilling rig activity, well programs, and frac crew trends— the Sales Manager helps shape deployment plans, revenue forecasts, and overall sales strategy. This role requires a strong understanding of the connection between sales activity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Territory & Account Management
  • Drive revenue growth, expand market share, and maintain healthy customer relationships within a defined district, basin or area.
  • Manage key E&P operators, rig contractors and service company accounts, acting as the customer liaison across all the E3 teams and companies.
  • Ensure accountability and deployment tracking of all equipment operating within the territory across completions activity.
Customer Engagement & Technical Sales Support
  • Lead customer-facing interactions with support from service, engineering, and field teams.
  • Present new products, performance data, and service value propositions to both technical and commercial stakeholders with focus on completion performance, reliability and total well and frac pad economics.
  • Guide and assist with failure analysis investigations and collaborate with internal teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in and schedule site visits as business dictates, including but not limited well intervention, and frac and completion’s locations for any needs including but not limited to customer reviews, customer pursuits, job and customer requirements, customer contact, internal or external audits, and technical Q&A sessions.
Sales Strategy, Market Intelligence and Lead Generation
  • Work in tandem with the BD team and market intelligence programs and information to monitor drilling rig activity, well programs, and frac crew trends, identify customer movement, and inform and adapt sales strategy to fit.
  • Collaborate with other Sales Managers, Operations, and Engineering to align activity and efforts across all E3 companies and the sales efforts needed to achieve all targets and broader strategic priorities for the betterment of the companies.
  • Understand how sales activities impact profitability, cash flow, and margins—align sales behavior strategy and direction accordingly to meet business demands and targets.
  • Collaborate with Finance to support accurate revenue forecasting, cost tracking, and pricing structures and OTC resolution and other BD activities that can impact financial performance of the companies.
  • Contribute to service auditing, commercial planning, commercial development, and internal process improvement.
Additional Job Requirements
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to represent company at all levels of the O&G service company, rig contractor and E&P operators.
  • High level of initiative, task ownership and accountability—ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure. Detail oriented and analytical with drive for continuous improvement and process adherence.
  • Needs the financial acumen to product and present business cases to justify and seek approval for BD and marketing efforts that align with company direction.
  • Effective communicator and collaborator who can be the “voice of the Customer” inside E3 as well as resolve and accomplish E3 goals that align with the customer.
  • Travel regularly including overnight to manage large territories and effectively deliver results.
  • Superior organizational skills; excellent time management skills and commitment to deadlines
  • Must always maintain the perception of self-confidence, leadership and professionalism to ensure control of business targets, territory and operations under his supervision/area.
Qualifications & Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Energy Management, or related field
  • 5+ years in sales, business development, or account management, ideally within the oilfield services or industrial technology sector.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic fracturing operations and trends, drilling rig and drilling systems operations and relevant experience in O&G industry for a working knowledge of operations and sales strategies that drive new business.
  • Experience managing teams and response to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders, with strong proposal and pricing strategy skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles, including how sales strategies influence margins, SG&A, and profitability.
  • Proficiency with CRM/ERP platforms (NetSuite preferred) and business intelligence tools (Power BI or equivalent).
Desired Skills
  • Diploma or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must have prior field experience in a related area.
  • Hydraulic and electrical experience is preferred.
  • Mechanical and Electrical Aptitude with Technical Problem-Solving Skills.
  • Able to pull a tandem axle trailer.
  • Tasks and Safe work practice will require travel and possible overnight stay.
  • Good with MS Office programs.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • OSHA or NEBOSH Safety Certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrates professional work characteristics, high initiative, dependability, and credibility.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
