Job description

Client Success & Underwriting Specialist (Remote)
Wealth Without Wall Street / Strategic IBC
Remote Flexible Hours Growth Opportunity
Most "Remote Jobs" Feel Meaningless.
This One Shouldn't.
Let's be upfront before you read another word.
If you're looking for a role where you quietly push paperwork around, forward a few emails, and disappear at the end of the day without making much impact, this probably won't be the right fit.
But if you're someone who:
  • genuinely cares about people
  • thrives on organization and communication
  • takes ownership naturally
  • enjoys helping clients feel supported and cared for
  • and wants your work to actually matter...

Because this role matters a lot.
At Wealth Without Wall Street, we help people become financially free faster through education, coaching, and implementation of the Infinite Banking Concept.
We work with business owners, entrepreneurs, investors, and families who are looking for a better way to take control of their financial future outside the traditional Wall Street system.
But there's a moment in every client journey that can either build trust... or completely erode it.
It's the underwriting process.
In most insurance environments, underwriting feels cold, confusing, reactive, and transactional.
Clients get overwhelmed.
Communication breaks down.
Cases stall.
Trust starts leaking out of the process.
We refuse to let that become our clients' experience.
That's where this role comes in.
You become the calm, proactive guide helping clients navigate a process that often feels intimidating and unfamiliar.
You are the person who:
  • translates complicated carrier requests into clear, human communication
  • follows up before clients have to ask
  • keeps cases moving proactively
  • creates confidence during uncertainty
  • and helps clients feel genuinely cared for throughout the process

This is not just an administrative role.
Outside of the relationship clients have with their coach, this is one of the most important touchpoints in the entire client experience.
You will directly impact:
  • client trust
  • policy placement
  • operational efficiency
  • coach effectiveness
  • and the growth of our company

About Us
At Wealth Without Wall Street, our mission is simple:
We help people who want to become financially free get there faster.
Through education, coaching, and the implementation of the Infinite Banking Concept (IBC), we help business owners, entrepreneurs, investors, and families take greater control of their cash flow, build passive income, and create financial freedom outside the traditional Wall Street system.
We are a fast-growing, people-first company that values:
  • Integrity
  • Ownership
  • Proactive communication
  • Long-term relationships
  • Personal growth
  • Teamwork
  • Gratitude over greed

We believe the formula for financial freedom is simple - but the work to accomplish it requires intentionality, discipline, and great people serving clients at a high level.
We pursue long-lasting relationships based on mutual respect.
We believe in doing what we say we're going to do.
We practice what we preach.
We are proactive in learning and gaining understanding.
We challenge conventional wisdom and embrace technologies that help us better serve our clients.
And we believe that "fine" is an F-word in our industry.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and relational Client Success & Underwriting Specialist to support our coaching and underwriting operations.
This is a fully remote position with flexible scheduling, though candidates must be available during core business hours (Central Time).
The role is expected to average approximately 25-35 hours per week initially, with strong potential for long-term growth into a full-time position as the company continues to scale.
Many members of our operations team are mothers and homeschool families who value flexibility, ownership, meaningful work, and the ability to serve clients at a high level while maintaining balance at home.
Responsibilities
Underwriting & Case Management
  • Coordinate life insurance applications from submission through final policy delivery
  • Gather and organize client information needed for successful carrier submission
  • Submit applications and supporting documents to insurance carriers
  • Coordinate medical exams, labs, APS requests, and underwriting requirements
  • Communicate proactively with clients regarding outstanding requirements
  • Follow up consistently with carriers to keep cases moving efficiently
  • Help coaches prepare clients for underwriting expectations and next steps
  • Coordinate policy delivery and funding logistics
  • Assist with onboarding clients into our systems and community after policy placement
Client Communication & Experience
  • Serve as a trusted guide and point of contact for clients throughout the underwriting process
  • Translate carrier communication into clear, professional, client-friendly messaging
  • Maintain a calm, professional, and reassuring presence during underwriting challenges
  • Provide timely updates and proactive communication to both clients and coaches
Service & Operations Support
  • Assist existing policyholders with service-related requests
  • Coordinate carrier service forms and policy changes when needed
  • Maintain accurate CRM notes and pipeline updates
  • Track tasks, workflows, and follow-ups inside company systems
  • Collaborate closely with coaches and operations leadership

What We're Looking For
We care far more about attitude, ownership, communication, and coachability than prior insurance experience.
The ideal candidate is:
  • highly organized and detail-oriented
  • proactive and responsive
  • calm under pressure
  • relational and service-minded
  • confident communicating with both clients and carriers
  • comfortable learning new systems quickly
  • able to think critically and solve problems proactively
  • emotionally intelligent and professional
  • dependable and accountable
  • eager to grow personally and professionally

Requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable high-speed internet and home office setup
  • Comfortable working remotely and independently
  • Available during core Central Time business hours
  • Comfortable on Zoom and in a collaborative remote environment
  • Ability to manage multiple moving pieces simultaneously
  • Proficiency with technology and willingness to learn new systems quickly
Experience with any of the following is helpful, but not required:
  • HubSpot
  • Slack
  • Outlook
  • Monday.com
  • Dropbox
  • Insurance carrier portals
  • Customer service or client success experience
  • Life insurance or underwriting operations

No insurance license is required for this role.
Compensation
Hourly compensation plus performance-based bonuses tied to applications and funded policies. Total compensation will vary based on experience, hours worked, and production volume.
Perks & Culture
  • Fully remote position
  • Flexible scheduling environment
  • Meaningful, mission-driven work
  • Strong team culture and support
  • Access to company educational resources and training
  • Opportunity for long-term growth as the company scales
  • A team that values relationships, ownership, communication, and continuous learning

Application Process
Applications for this role will be submitted through our Workable hiring platform.
To be considered for this position, applicants must complete all three of the following steps:
  1. Submit a current resume
  2. Provide a short video introduction
  3. Complete the Culture Index assessment

Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Video Introduction
Please provide a brief 2-5 minute video introducing yourself and answering the following:
  • Why this role interests you
  • Why you believe you would be a strong fit for this position
  • What type of work environment helps you thrive
  • Anything else you would want us to know about you
Culture Index Assessment
Culture Index Survey
The Culture Index is not a pass/fail assessment. It simply helps us better understand communication styles, strengths, and team fit as part of our hiring process.
We are looking for people who genuinely care about serving others, communicate proactively, take ownership, and want to grow with a mission-driven organization..
