Position Overview

We invite passionate mental health professionals to apply for the position of Licensed Mental Health Therapist at SIAM Psychological Health Center. This full-time role provides an opportunity to engage in meaningful therapeutic work while supervising emerging therapists in a supportive remote setting. The selected candidate will not only deliver essential psychotherapy services but also play a critical role in nurturing the professional growth of practicum students and other junior therapists.

About the Organization

SIAM Psychological Health Center is dedicated to the empowerment and healing of individuals navigating mental health challenges. Our vision embraces a holistic approach to mental well-being, ensuring that our clients feel understood and supported on their journeys of self-discovery and growth. We aim to bridge the disconnect between mental health services and daily life, fostering an environment where transformation can occur. Our commitment extends beyond our clients; we are also focused on creating a workplace that offers our team members a sense of fulfillment, recognition, and support in both their professional and personal lives.

Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing you to deliver 100% outpatient services in a flexible environment that fits your lifestyle. You will be equipped with the necessary tools and support to thrive, collaborating with a professional team dedicated to mental health excellence. As part of a telehealth setup, you will engage with clients through secure online platforms, balancing clinical responsibilities with a personalized approach to care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide weekly supervision and mentorship to practicum students and interns seeking clinical licensure.
  • Deliver tailored psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families, addressing a diverse range of mental health concerns.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and community resources, to create comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to assess client needs and track treatment progress effectively.
  • Maintain high standards of documentation and record-keeping, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal requirements.
  • Stay informed about advancements in therapeutic practices, incorporating the latest research insights into your clinical work.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a varied patient demographic, from individuals facing anxiety and depression to couples navigating relationship challenges or families dealing with systemic issues. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, giving you the opportunity to apply culturally competent care in your therapeutic process. By understanding each clientโ€™s unique situation, you will help facilitate personal growth and healing.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
  • A valid, active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
  • Professional liability insurance to practice independently.
  • At least two years of professional experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic modalities and patient care.
Preferred Experience

Experience in supervising interns or practicum students is highly valued. Candidates with a specialty in trauma-informed care, family therapy, or cognitive-behavioral therapy will be favored. Familiarity with telehealth best practices and tools will enhance your ability to effectively engage clients in a remote environment.

Compensation and Benefits

SIAM Psychological Health Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, reflecting your experience and contributions. In addition to this robust salary, you will also benefit from a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Life insurance and paid parental leave.
  • Paid holidays and generous vacation days.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for personal and professional support.
  • A collegial and collaborative work environment, along with full administrative support.
  • Strong emphasis on work/life balance to ensure your personal well-being.
Career Growth Opportunities

At SIAM Psychological Health Center, you are not just another employee but a vital part of our mission. We encourage ongoing professional development through training workshops, peer consultations, and potential pathways to leadership roles. By joining our team, you will have opportunities to broaden your clinical skills while positively impacting the mental health community.
