• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand clients' unique mental health challenges, strengths, and resources available for support.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused therapy, to provide effective individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that include clear, achievable goals and interventions based on each client’s needs and therapy progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients, including seamless communication about treatment plans.
• Lead various therapeutic sessions, including group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes, to enrich the therapeutic experience for clients.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, conducting risk assessments and assisting with safety planning to navigate urgent situations.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements, ensuring that client records are meticulously managed.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in our community health clinic, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing anxiety, relationship issues, stress, trauma, and more. You will also support families grappling with complex dynamics and mental health concerns, helping them to cultivate resilience and foster healthier relationships.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and their families.

• A minimum of two years of experience working in a mental health or outpatient setting is preferred.
