The 'remote' aspect means that all work is done online, with clients sending digital files to the engineer, who then uses professional software and equipment to enhance and balance the audio. This setup allows projects to be completed while clients sleep, improving turnaround times and providing convenience. It's commonly used by musicians, podcasters, and content creators who need quick, high-quality mixes without geographic limitations.
