The Delaney at The Vale is recruiting for a hospitality focused Security Officer/Concierge. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of residents during overnight hours while providing exceptional customer service. This role combines security monitoring with concierge assistance and light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

Schedule: Part-time opportunity, Saturday and Sunday 11:00pm - 7:00am

Salary: $21-$24/hour

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Concierge:

  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas through patrols and surveillance systems.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and resident calls, following established protocols.
  • Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security logs.
  • Greet and assist residents and visitors in a courteous, professional manner.
  • Handle inquiries, provide directions, and assist with access requests.
  • Assist residents with minor needs during overnight hours.
  • Remove trash from designated areas and ensure proper disposal.
  • Vacuum common areas and maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Perform light cleaning tasks as needed to keep the environment safe and pleasant.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Prior experience in security, concierge, or senior living environment strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach
