Job description

Project Manager – Heavy Civil Construction

📍 Middlesex, Vermont | Onsite + Tri-State Travel | Full-Time

Ready to build projects that actually matter? Join a fast-growing heavy civil construction company delivering complex infrastructure projects across the Northeast - from wastewater facilities and dam work to excavation, process piping, and large-scale civil construction.

This is the kind of company where:

  • Leadership knows your name
  • Your work has visible impact
  • You’re trusted to own projects from kickoff to closeout
  • Growth opportunities are real, not just talked about

Why People Love Working Here:

  • Strong bonuses with no cap potential
  • Long-term stability + ambitious growth plans
  • Less corporate politics, more ownership and accountability
  • Diverse, challenging projects that keep things interesting

Day-To-Day:

  • Manage 3–4 active construction projects at a time
  • Lead projects from planning through closeout
  • Coordinate crews, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
  • Run project meetings and maintain timelines
  • Visit job sites weekly/biweekly across the Northeast region

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3–7+ years of Project Management experience
  • Background in heavy civil, wastewater, renewable energy, excavation, utilities, or related construction
  • Experience managing $2M+ projects from start to finish
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand survey/layout work
  • Strong communication and problem-solving mindset
  • PMP Certification is a plus
  • Experience with Procore or Oracle P6
  • Grit, urgency, and a solutions-first attitude

Compensation & Perks:

  • Competitive base salary + strong annual bonus potential
  • Regional travel with minimal overnight stays (roughly 7 x per year)
  • Clear career growth into senior operations leadership
  • Work on impactful infrastructure projects with a respected team

If you thrive in fast-paced construction environments and want to help shape the future of infrastructure while growing your career, this opportunity is worth exploring.
