Industrial Maintenance Technician - Canton, OH - JOB 26-00500 Pay Range: $32.00 - $34.50/HR Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Monday - Friday) As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and start-up of complex industrial machinery Heavy Equipment Setup. Responsibilities Install, configure, and align advanced industrial machinery using technical blueprints and precision engineering specifications. Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex fluid power systems to ensure minimal downtime. Utilize laser alignment, vibration analysis tools, and precision measurement instruments to optimize equipment uptime. Expertly and safely operate hoists, overhead cranes, and dollies to position heavy industrial components. Guide, train, and develop the next generation of maintenance professionals through the company's internal Apprenticeship Program. Requirement High School Diploma or GED A Journeyman Card or an Associate Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Technology is highly preferred. Strong proficiency in Stick / MIG welding, heavy rigging, and mechanical troubleshooting. Hands-on experience utilizing CMMS software (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for tracking work orders and parts inventory. Previous experience working within a Steel Mill, Foundry, or Heavy Manufacturing environment is strongly preferred. A strict commitment to OSHA standards and 100% PPE compliance (including FR gear, steel-toed boots, and safety glasses).
