Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments prior to surgical procedures, ensuring all pre-operative requirements are met.
  • Review patient's medical history and verify surgical consent forms and necessary documentation.
  • Administer prescribed medications and intravenous fluids as per pre-operative protocols.
  • Educate patients and their families about the surgical process, expected outcomes, and post-operative care instructions.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormalities to the surgical team.
