Join our Nursing Team at Allegria Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of Port Jefferson!

About Us:

Allegria Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of Port Jefferson is a long-term care and skilled nursing facility committed to delivering exceptional care to our residents. We are dedicated to providing top-tier care to our residents and fostering a positive, team-driven work environment. We are actively hiring compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our evening (3pm-11pm) and overnight (11pm-7am) care teams.

Position Overview:

RNs play essential roles in the care of our residents. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care, supervising CNAs, coordinating with medical staff, and ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations.

Shifts Available:

Full-Time | 3:00 PM โ€“ 11:00 PM (Evening Shift)

Full-Time | 11:00 PM โ€“ 7:00 AM (Overnight Shift)

Key Responsibilities:

-Administer medications and treatments per physician orders

-Monitor and document residents' conditions and progress

-Supervise and support CNAs and other care team members

-Respond to medical emergencies and follow proper protocols

-Communicate with families, residents, and healthcare professionals

-Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation

-Promote a safe, clean, and respectful environment for all residents

Requirements:

-Valid New York State license as an RN (Required)

-Current CPR certification (Preferred)

-Experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility (Preferred)

-Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills

-Dependable, detail-oriented, and compassionate approach to care

-Ability to work independently and within a team setting
