Interiors Installer
Location: Cincinnati, OH

Pay: $25–$27 per hour


About the Role

Planes Companies is seeking a skilled Installer to join our team. In this role, you’ll install interior finishes and FF amp;E (Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment) treatments according to project specifications, ensuring quality and efficiency. You’ll work on projects across the U.S., with approximately 50% overnight travel. Join a company that values Trust – Empowerment – Accountability – Mesh.


Responsibilities
  • Interpret and install interiors and FF amp;E treatments per specifications, blueprints, and job orders.
  • Problem-solve and troubleshoot for the most effective and aesthetic installation methods.
  • Complete project paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Follow company policies and safety requirements.
  • Communicate promptly about potential issues affecting operations.
  • Maintain positive relationships with supervisors, team members, contractors, and customers.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, creativity, and willingness to improve job-related skills.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of installation experience with related work.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and blueprints.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and listening.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Customer service mindset and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Job Conditions
  • Travel required—approximately 50% overnight, out of state.
  • Fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Regular standing, lifting, climbing, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Ability to work at variable heights (ladders, scaffolds, lifts).
  • Exposure to varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
