Job description

Receives pharmaceutical goods from the distributor and various vendors against purchasing records. Enters receipts, returns, and distributions into the organization's computerized inventory system, following defined processes and procedures. Maintains accurate inventory counts throughout the pharmacy.

Maintains invoicing for all drug and supply accounts Responsible for performing Certified Pharmacy Technician job functions. Assists in staff training, orientation for inventory control and automated dispensing Pharmacy systems. Serves as a back-up for supporting all activities related to effective inventory ordering and reconciliation.

Must obtain Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration by June 28, 2026.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Experience
2 years experience in pharmacy technology and informatics, specifically as it relates to
automated dispensing systems, packaging systems, medication administration systems,
medication delivery software and inventory control applications Required
3 years experience in Pyxis Logistics or Talyst Software Preferred
Licenses
Certified Pharmacy Technician Required
PA Registered Pharm Tech Required
