Job description

Licensed Vocational Nurse

The Licensed Vocational Nurse will deliver competent and skilled care to patients and families according to their identified needs. This care is delivered under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and is guided by the established plan of care, and the medical plan of treatment. The Licensed Vocational Nurse will deliver care with a team-orientation, an emphasis on good customer relations; sound clinical judgement and appropriate decision-making abilities that take into consideration evidenced based practice.

Monday - Friday 7:45a - 4:15p. No Weekends/Holidays

Education/Experience:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current permit or license to practice vocational nursing in the State of Texas
  • 2+ years Primary Care and/or Clinic experience preferred.
  • Pediatric experience preferred.
  • Telephone Triage experience preferred.
  • Current BLS
  • Valid Driver's License required
