Job Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to satisfactorily complete Solids Control rig ups, rig downs, troubleshooting, and minor repair.
Ability to satisfactorily perform Solids Control Analysis of equipment.
Ability to satisfactorily perform electrical rig ups, rig downs and minor repairs.
Possess satisfactory knowledge of Solids Control and Vacuum Unit jobs.
Ability to follow proper sampling procedure.
Attain necessary NOV WSS Core Training and maintain annual refresher training.
Ability to satisfactorily complete daily reports.
Ability to communicate with customers, supervisors and co-workers.
Possess satisfactory rig etiquette and maintain a professional attitude.
Ability to successfully train other employees.
Ability to travel outside hiring region, if needed.
Maintain a satisfactory driving record.
Demonstrate a willingness to complete general labor tasks as deemed necessary by supervisor
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in solids control field or similar mechanical experience, to be able to identify potential mechanical problems.
Possess a satisfactory driving record
Must be able to pass background check, pre-placement physical, pulmonary function/FIT test and substance abuse testing.
Must be able to operate or, be trained to operate heavy equipment such as track hoe/backhoe in a safe manner.
Must be able to operate or, be trained to operate existing solids control line of equipment and or any new solids control technology introduced to the market.
Must be able to complete Water Survival Training.
