Liberty Senior Living is currently seeking an experienced:

CONCIERGE

Job Summary:

  • Due to the nature of the job, a high degree of confidentiality is expected.
  • Answer phones, route calls to the appropriate person or department. 
  • Ensure all entering sign in via kiosk.
  • Call resident apartment to announce visitor before sending visitor to apartment.
  • Enter work orders for housekeeping, pest control, and/or maintenance issues as called in or requested by residents, staff, and/or guests. 
  • Accepts packages, monitors for postal delivery, and pick up.  Call residents who have received packages or deliveries.
  • Inform immediately the Executive Director and other department heads when officials enter the building; i.e., Health Department, Department of Insurance, Fire Marshall, etc.
  • Must understand how to initiate assistance from local medical professionals; i.e., police, EMT, etc. (911)
  • Must know building layout and be able to assist emergency services in locating resident units in the event of an emergency.
  • Must have working knowledge of fire alarm panel and be able to direct resident response in the event of an emergency.
  • Receives and delivers flowers and initiates a call to appropriate person as soon as possible.
  • Assist individuals who come to complete applications and direct them to the appropriate department head.
  • Meet and greet all new residents.
  • Assists visitors, families and employees as needed.
  • In case of a fire, must know the Fire Plan, be able to participate in fire response and follow all policies and procedures.
  • If working evening must follow security procedures to secure the building, which requires extensive walking throughout the building/community several times a shift.
  • If working overnight, makes rounds throughout common areas to ensure building security and resident safety.
  • Deliver Newspapers to resident doors throughout the building.
  • If working day shift, completes resident daily check in at 10am, which may require visits to the resident’s apartment for verification.
  • Must respond to resident emergency calls as they occur.
  • Must be available to assist before, during, and after any type of disaster.
  • Must have computer and critical thinking skills.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be a high school graduate
  • Must be a team player with a positive and considerate attitude.
  • Must be organized and able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Must have knowledge of computers.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure.
  • Must be able to problem-solve.
  • Must be willing to perform various functions.
  • Must read, know, follow and explain personnel, department and facility policies as they pertain to the Business Office.
  • Must be able to be cheerful and represent a positive, professional first impression at all times.
