DESCRIPTION

WORK SCHEDULE

Overnight early morning hours, starting at 2am. Number of Shift hours vary by route. Holidays and Weekends a MUST. 

7 day route also available - Monday through Sunday.


 

Job Summary

This is an entry level non-exempt position that primarily requires driving. Under the direction of the Distribution Center Manager (DCM) or the Assistant Distribution Manager (ADM), performs the manual labor aspects of distribution center operations along with assigned driving tasks.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparing and delivering assigned routes, maintaining established service levels.
  • May perform other driving tasks such as delivery verifications and delivery of replacement copies.
  • Maintaining a safe work environment by following safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains safety and cleanliness of work area.

Technical and Functional

  • Must have and maintain access to a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license in state of residence, driving record in adherence with PCF guidelines, and automobile insurance at limits required by PCF.
  • Ability to use the internet and learn PCF applications.
  • Ability to meet and/or exceed the established customer service objectives.
  • Ability to communicate information professionally and effectively.

Required Physical Abilities

  • Ability to routinely lift heavy items.
  • Ability to perform route delivery, going in and out of vehicle, throwing and walking.
  • Ability to move around the facility, both inside and outside.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and attendance standards.
  • Ability to work weekends and early morning hours.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse type environment.
  • Ability to function at night in adverse conditions.
  • Ability to work within safety guidelines.

Experience, Education and Certifications Required

Experience Require

  • No previous experience required.
  • Third shift work experience is a plus.

Required Educational Level

  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
