Key Responsibilities

As a Sign Technician / Installer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of signage and lighting systems, including:

  • Channel letters

  • Monument and pylon signs

  • LED conversions

  • Interior signage

  • Wall wraps

  • Vehicle graphics and potential vehicle wrapping

  • Digital message center displays

  • Parking lot and building lighting systems

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Operating boom trucks, crane trucks, bucket trucks, and lifts

  • Reading work orders, layouts, and installation instructions

  • Documenting completed work with notes and photos

Troubleshooting electrical issues and performing repairs, including:

  • Lamps

  • Ballasts

  • LED systems

  • Neon transformers

  • Maintaining clean and organized vehicles and work areas

  • Loading, transporting, and unloading signage materials

  • Preparing installation sites, including digging, painting, concrete work, and other related tasks

Qualifications & Requirements

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous sign installation experience is preferred

  • Training is available for motivated candidates with backgrounds in:

  • Construction

  • Electrical work

  • Welding

  • Commercial maintenance

  • Skilled trades

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with the ability to obtain a CDL

  • Ability to safely work at heights and in confined spaces while following safety procedures

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to lift 40+ pounds

  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Willingness to take ownership and accountability for assigned work
