Job description

Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon

Our organization is on the lookout for a MIGS Specialist to become part of our employed physician team. We are currently evaluating candidates with a surgical background, particularly those who have a keen interest in pelvic medicine. Our practice encompasses a wide range of pelvic health issues, including but not limited to pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar conditions, colposcopy, trigger point injections, and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Please note that this role does not involve obstetrics.

Position Overview

The chosen candidate will join our multi-specialty medical group, which consists of nearly 700 healthcare providers. Our organization, based in Akron, Ohio, is recognized as one of the largest integrated healthcare delivery systems in the state, featuring two hospitals and over 20 health centers that ensure comprehensive access to care across the region.

Opportunity Highlights

Candidate Requirements
  • Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Completion of a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship.

  • Active participation in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Dedication to providing evidence-based, standardized care within a patient-centered, team-oriented environment.
