Job description

We are a progressive, GYN-focused women's health group that is looking to grow our team. We invite a warm and empathetic Gynecologist to join us, and we welcome new graduates to apply. Our current team consists of four gynecologists, including a breast specialist and a minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon.

  • Opportunities for both full-time and part-time positions are available.
  • Work in a cutting-edge office located in the vibrant Midtown East area of New York City, with three locations in total.
  • Affiliated with a leading hospital network.
  • Enjoy a 4-5 day work week with flexible hours and dedicated operating room time. (Part-time options available for 3 days, with flexibility.)
  • No obstetrics responsibilities and no hospital on-call duties.
  • Malpractice coverage will be provided on an occurrence basis.
  • Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
  • Performance bonuses based on revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver gynecologic care to patients.
  • Assess and evaluate patients' health conditions.
  • Provide education on preventive care to patients.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient histories and treatments using electronic health records (EHR) in a paperless environment.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, ensuring appropriate follow-up with patients.
  • Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare providers when necessary.
  • Perform gynecological procedures and surgeries, either in-office or at affiliated hospitals and surgery centers.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Must hold a valid New York medical license.
  • At least one year of experience in a hospital or private practice setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficient in patient charting and familiar with relevant electronic charting systems.
  • Capable of effectively supervising and managing medical staff and assistants within the office.

Contract Duration:

  • Minimum of two years.
