What is an overnight media ingest operator?

Overnight Media Ingest Operators are professionals responsible for receiving, processing, and preparing media files—such as video, audio, or digital assets—during overnight shifts for broadcasting, streaming, or archiving. Their duties often include monitoring transfer processes, ensuring files meet technical standards, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining accurate logs.
