Computed Tomography Technologist

Profession: Technologist Specialty: Computed Tomography (CT) Duration: Ongoing Shift: Varied Hours per Shift: 12 hours (Saturday and Sunday 6am to 6pm, and one overnight - Monday 6pm to 6am on Tuesday morning) Experience: Minimum 2 years current Imaging/CT/X-Ray experience required License: NH License of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT)(R) Certification required Must-Have: ARRT (CT)(R) Certification Ability to work independently and hit the ground running IV skills Description: Under the guidance of the CT clinical supervisor, a trained technologist performs all diagnostic procedures with the knowledge of all pertinent academic areas to produce consistent, high-quality exams. The CT technologist works effectively with patients and physicians and maintains a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel. The purpose of employment is to prioritize the patient as number one and to put forth the utmost quality as a technologist. The training provided enables this individual to perform all necessary procedures on patients in all age groups. Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color EMR: HMS Medhost Patient population: Newborn to geriatric CT scanner: Siemens Somatom 40 slice X-ray equipment: Carestream Proficiency with MediTech, Phillips, Siemens, AGFA DR, and OEC C-arm is highly preferred. A bachelor's degree is also highly preferred.
