Job description

Permanent Night Shift Ct Technologist – Imaging

Claremont, NH

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled CT Technologist to join our imaging team on a full-time, night-shift basis. Under the supervision of the CT clinical supervisor, the successful candidate will perform diagnostic CT procedures with precision and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. This role requires a compassionate approach, strong technical expertise, and excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all diagnostic computed tomography (CT) procedures accurately and efficiently, adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging to facilitate accurate diagnosis.
  • Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and maintaining a respectful, comfortable environment for patients across all age groups—from newborns to geriatrics.
  • Collaborate with physicians and radiology staff to optimize imaging and patient outcomes.
  • Maintain precise documentation within electronic medical records (EMR), utilizing HMS Medhost system.
  • Comply with all departmental policies, safety regulations, and licensing requirements, including NH MIRT licensing standards.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, including wearing personal scrubs of any color, and uphold a courteous demeanor at all times.

Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Valid New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License.
  • ARRT Certification in Radiologic Technology.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Proven experience working with Siemens Somatom 40-slice CT scanners and Carestream X-ray equipment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically HMS Medhost, is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits:

    • Entry-level (0-2 years): $26.82 – $27.27 per hour
    • Mid-level (3-10 years): $27.72 – $30.87 per hour
    • Experienced (11-20 years): $31.32 – $35.37 per hour
