Job description

Immediate Registered Nurse (RN) Contract Position

Immediate Registered Nurse (RN) contract position available for our Corporate Health Center in Lafayette, IN. Note: This is an overnight position.

Pay Rate: $55.00/hr

Work Schedule:

  • 4:00pm to 4:00am (Monday to Friday)
  • Option to work 3 - 12's, 4 - 10's or 5 - 8's
  • 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat all injuries and illnesses in an efficient and professional manner within the scope of practice and consistent with clinical nursing guidelines.
  • Performs occupational and health screening tests as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
  • Assess healthcare needs, then implement and manage healthcare programs to improve health and facilitate return to work, maintain OSHA records/reports and worker medical files.
  • Identifies emergency situations and provides care.
  • Administers medications and medical treatments competently as directed by a Physician

Qualifications:

  • RNs with prior occupational health, ER or ambulatory care experience preferred.
  • Currently licensed Registered Nurse
  • Current hands on training in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required.
  • Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred.
