Mercy Ridge is looking to hire an overnight Resident Assistant for our Assisted Living Program. This position does require a Certified Nursing License (CNA) I or II. This is a full-time non-exempt position, which may include overtime. Under the direct supervision of the Resident Care Manager/Delegating Nurse Manager and/or Administrator of Assisted Living, the incumbent is responsible for providing direct care to residents to enhance the lives of each resident in the Assisted Living environment.


Schedule: weekdays and every other weekend 11pm – 7am


Essential Functions:
  • Performs direct and indirect care to resident to include activities of daily living: Bathing, feeding, toileting, performing grooming activities, oral hygiene, cleaning all body areas as needed and denture care
  • Monitors and assists as appropriate in dining room during meal times
  • Ensures that the residents laundry is clean and maintained
  • Light housekeeping duties in residents rooms
  • Transferring and positioning residents in chairs, beds, wheelchairs, turning and changing position of residents, and lifting resident with assistance
  • Performing active range of motion with the Residents
  • Making occupied and unoccupied beds
  • Weighing residents, taking vital signs, practicing universal precautions
  • Documents care in electronic medical record
