Description:

The Finishing Technician performs all tasks associated with the final finishing, refining, polishing, and quality preparation of AvaDent Digital Denture products. This role ensures cases meet established quality standards while supporting manufacturing, engineering, and operational objectives. This position plays a vital role in ensuring every product meets company quality standards while contributing to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. 


Essential Duties

· Review case notes and color maps for accuracy.

· Review and refine work orders to meet AvaDent standards.

· Process cases into Final Quality Control (QC).

· Perform post-QC refinements and adjustments as required.

· Rescan cases following modifications and verify updated color maps.

· Flow bond returning ATI cases.

· Finish and polish flow-bonded products.

· Complete final finishing activities as needed to ensure product quality.

Requirements:


Qualifications

· Experience as a dental laboratory technician, dental assistant, dental laboratory trainee, nail technician, or in a similar precision-based role preferred. 

· Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

· Ability to perform detailed finishing, polishing, and quality-focused work.

· Basic computer skills required. 

· Ability to follow work instructions and quality standards.

· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

· Manufacturing, laboratory, cosmetic, jewelry, nail, craft, or other detailed production experience is a plus.

· Ability to work from 7am-4pm

The work environment is a manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery, moving parts, noise, strong smells, and fluctuating temperatures. This position requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 15 lbs, as well as perform physical tasks for extended periods.
