Machine Operator

Location:De Soto, KS

Pay: $18.75 per hour, paid weekly

Schedule:1st shift, 7 am to 7 pm, Rotating shift

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable and safety-focused Machine Operators to join a local manufacturing team in De Soto, KS. This position is responsible for operating forming machines, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and supporting production goals while following all company safety procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operate various forming machines efficiently and safely
  • Perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the department
  • Follow all machine safety procedures and company policies
  • Lift and move ring stock rolls and cases as needed
  • Support production and quality standards
  • Work overtime as required

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including overnight schedules
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly
  • Must be comfortable with:
  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Climbing, bending, twisting, crouching, and reaching overhead
  • Push/pull movements
  • Frequent hand and finger dexterity tasks
  • Strong attention to safety and reliability
