Full-time (30+ hours/week)
Contract role

Overnight Shift: 11:45 PM – 8:15 AM

Schedule Options:

  • Monday–Friday
  • Tuesday–Saturday
  • Wednesday–Sunday
  • Thursday–Monday
  • Friday–Tuesday
  • Saturday–Wednesday
  • Sunday–Thursday

Bonus Pay:

  • +7.5% weekday overnight
  • +10% weekend overnight

Job Overview

An autonomous ride-hailing company is hiring a Driver Tester to help operate and test self-driving vehicles in real-world conditions.

This role focuses on safety, vehicle readiness, and supporting daily operations.


What You’ll Do
  • Drive 4–8 hours per day (safety is the priority)
  • Support vehicle testing and operations
  • Perform basic software and system tasks
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and maintenance
  • Keep vehicles clean and ready
  • Track data and complete reports
  • Work with engineering and operations teams
  • Help move and manage vehicles and equipment

Requirements
  • Clean driving record and background
  • Strong communication skills
  • Comfortable driving for long periods (6+ hours/day)
  • Basic tech and troubleshooting skills
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused

Preferred (Not Required)
  • Bachelor’s degree or technical experience
  • Military experience
