Job description

Do you enjoy hands-on work and being part of an impactful fun environment? Join us as an Overnight Camp Kitchen team member, where you'll play a critical role in keeping camp operations running smoothly for campers and staff.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a beautiful outdoor setting while supporting operations that create lifelong memories for youth.
Camp Season dates: 6/28/2026 - 8/22/2026 with pre camp training beforehand
Pay rate: $400 per week, room and board included
What You'll Do
  • The Kitchen Staff assists in preparation and service of healthy meals to our camp community. This includes the preparation of nutritious meals and maintaining a clean environment in the kitchen and dining hall.
  • Assist the Head Chef in the preparation, serving and cleaning up of meals served in camp
  • Follow all serve safe, organizational, and local/state/federal guidelines and regulations regarding food preparation and service
  • Maintain the kitchen, dining hall and food storage areas in a clean healthful condition
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with other camp staff utilizing positive communication strategies
  • Maintain an attitude of positive flexibility to meet the overnight camp program needs

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma
  • Ability to read and follow all safety information, labels and instructions
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
