Job description

MOBILE CRANE OPERATOR
Superior Walls Systems is seeking a Certified Mobile Crane Operator. Superior Walls Systems is a construction company that manufactures and installs precast concrete wall foundations for residential and business applications.
Superior Walls Systems offers competitive wages in addition to a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision and life insurances, paid holidays and paid time off. Overtime pay is paid after 40 hours worked in any given week.
Requirements:
  • Must hold a current CDL Class A driver's license with a clean record
  • Ability to pass a DOT medical examination
  • Must hold a current Mobile Crane Operator license/certificate from a nationally accredited institution
  • Construction experience is preferred
Duties Include:
  • Drive crane to/from the work site
  • Set up and operation of the mobile hydraulic crane mounted on specially constructed chassis
  • Safely & efficiently lift and move precast wall panels and other materials and objects as needed/directed
  • Observe and monitor safety issues
  • Conduct weekly crane inspection and maintenance, reporting any mechanical/safety issues with the crane
  • Keen awareness of job sites, road safety and an understanding in providing/receiving hand signals
  • No Jib work or special rigging is required to perform this job
  • Ability to arrive to scheduled worksites on time every day
  • Ability to communicate and work well with the Install and Transportation team members
  • Travel to jobsites throughout North and South Carolina with occasional overnight stay (lodging/meals paid by company)
