Appointment Setter

The Appointment Setter is responsible for generating qualified business opportunities by contacting prospective clients, introducing Nationwide Guard Services' security solutions, and scheduling appointments for our Business Development Managers. This position is ideal for someone who is confident on the phone, organized, goal-oriented, and enjoys building relationships.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Make outbound calls to prospective commercial and industrial clients.
  • Generate qualified leads through cold calling, email outreach, and follow-up communications.
  • Schedule appointments for Business Development Managers with decision-makers.
  • Research businesses and identify potential security service opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and notes in the company's CRM system.
  • Follow up on marketing campaigns and inbound inquiries.
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly appointment goals.
  • Build rapport with prospective clients while professionally representing Nationwide Guard Services.
  • Coordinate appointment calendars with the sales team.
  • Assist with lead generation initiatives and prospecting lists.
  • Provide administrative support to the Business Development department as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1 year of appointment setting, telemarketing, inside sales, customer service, or business development experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong phone etiquette and professional demeanor.
  • Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Experience using CRM software is a plus.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the security, staffing, facilities management, or B2B service industry.
