Private Duty Caregiver

Safe and Sound Home Care

We are a family-owned company dedicated to helping the elderly and disabled live safely and independently at home. Our professional care givers work one-on-one to assist clients with a variety of needs, including personal hygiene care, great companionship, meals, nutrition, and much more. We are looking for dedicated, energetic, and ethical care givers to join our team!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide personal care hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by tending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist with ambulation.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctors' appointments, walks, etc.).
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Complete client shopping or accompany them.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in case of an emergency.
• Offer activities essential for daily living by assisting patients with meal preparation, including serving and other tasks if necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
