The Clinical Program Director is responsible for the management and strategic growth of the Wound Care Program and other wound care continuum programs for the assigned area. This position provides complete oversight of the Wound Care Center (WCC)®, including day-to-day operations, staff management, financial management, quality/performance improvement, community education, and clinical functions oversight. The role also maintains collaborative relationships within the hospital and with Healogics to support program success. All Healogics employees must perform their job responsibilities in accordance with Healogics policies, hospital policies, accrediting organizations, federal and state regulations, and CMS guidelines as applicable.

• Manage the Center’s operations (percentage time shown in original: 20%). Oversee day-to-day management of outpatient clinic(s) and other wound care continuum programs; assess clinic flows, identify improvements, and implement best practices to improve outcomes.
• Ensure availability of adequate resources, supplies, equipment, and services; promote effective communication across the program; prioritize responsibilities and direct work of clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Collaborate with hospital personnel, WCC® Providers, Medical Director, and other health care providers to address clinic and patient needs; may function as a Documentation Assistant (scribe) per policy.
• Manage direct reports in coordination with company and hospital HR (interviewing, hiring, motivating, coaching, performance management).
• Financial management: coordinate revenue cycle for Healogics and hospital partner; monitor reimbursement changes; review financial reports and trends; manage costs and report ancillary revenues; present results to hospital leadership.
• Manage community education/marketing: develop strategic marketing plans with hospital and Healogics marketing; coordinate activities to increase referrals; maintain physician practice lists and engage physician offices with educational materials; document interactions in CRM; communicate goals and referral information with hospital leadership as needed.
• Quality/Performance Improvement: implement and manage the WCC® Performance Improvement Program; align with hospital PIP; participate in hospital committees; ensure documentation and patient satisfaction monitoring; ensure compliance requirements are met and escalate concerns as needed.
• Clinical operations: coordinate clinical activities, direct clinical staff, conduct patient care assessment and planning, and contribute to quality improvement efforts; may serve as case manager and provide patient education and care per protocols; perform hyperbaric-related duties as trained; may assume hyperbaric safety director duties after training.
• Relationship management: maintain strong relationships with hospital clients, align with hospital goals, collaborate across levels, participate in hospital meetings, and foster effective working relationships with wound care program staff.
• Other duties as required.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license throughout employment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field preferred with 1 year of marketing/community education in healthcare or clinical operations experience; or Associate’s degree with 2+ years of marketing/community education in healthcare; or 4+ years of marketing/community education in healthcare. Management experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory/accrediting requirements for healthcare organizations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; capable of group presentations; strong analytical and quantitative skills; customer service and follow-up skills; organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Stationary position for extended periods; extended screen time; frequent keyboard use (4+ hours).
• Mobility: lifting/moving items up to 75 pounds with equipment assistance; pushing/pulling; bending/stooping; reaching and grasping; travel by car or plane.
• Visual and auditory demands as described in typical office and clinical settings.

• Normal office environment; primarily indoors with exposure to patient care settings.
• Exposure to hazards such as bloodborne pathogens, toxic chemicals, and mechanical equipment; proximity to moving objects.

The salary for this position generally ranges between $92,100 and $122,100 annually. This range is an estimate and depends on qualifications, geography, and operational needs.
