Job description

Our client is looking for an Experienced Mechanical Engineer

The ideal candidate’s experience should be working in an engineering office that designs heating, air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing systems for commercial, institutional, industrial, and/or healthcare buildings.

Experience Required:

  • Mechanical engineer or designer with 15+ years of experience in design of heating and air conditioning for commercial, institutional, industrial, and/or healthcare buildings.
  • Extensive knowledge in the design and construction of chilled water, hot water, and steam; air handling systems; and building automation systems related to heating and air conditioning systems is required.
  • Experience with managing mechanical engineering project teams; providing guidance and being a mentor to mechanical engineers of lesser experience.
  • Meeting and communicating with clients; providing quality control reviews of mechanical drawings; conducting site inspections; and editing book specifications.
  • Perform site inspections and possibly commissioning when needed. Overnight travel is very minimal.
  • Experience using AutoCad is required. Experience with Revit is a plus.
  • Experience using Trace 700 for building cooling loads is a plus; and using Trace 700 also for energy models is an additional plus.
  • Hybrid work schedule.
  • Relocation expenses paid.
