About Us
Part of Guardian Recovery, Bishop Health is a private, outpatient mental health program dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to individuals in our community. Our mission is to empower individuals on their journey toward healing and well-being. We foster a collaborative, supportive, and client-focused environment where our team members can make a meaningful impact every day.

Join Our Team
As a Clinical Therapist in our treatment center, you will be providing assistance to individuals with varying levels of mental health disorders. Your role is to provide high-quality care using evidence-based modalities to help clients heal and recover. This position will be responsible for performing client care, providing group therapy, treatment planning, and coordinating discharge planning.
This is a new position in support of recently expanded evening services, part of our Intensive Outpatient Program and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offerings. As this position supports evening programming, applicants should be ideally available to work evening shifts.
Schedule for Part-Time: Hours can be 4pm to 9pm OR 5pm to 10pm (slightly flexible as long as they encompass 6-9 and time to see clients). These hours can be in-person or virtual.
Schedule for Full-Time: At minimum, this level of position requires one evening shift per week (1pm to 9pm). All other shifts will be during the day (8am to 4pm). If a candidate prefers to work evening shifts more often or exclusively, that can gladly be accommodated. Work days span Monday through Friday.
Benefits: Part-time employees are not eligible for benefits. If full-time, in addition to competitive pay, we offer quality health insurance, dental and vision, 401k, paid time off, and more. We believe in the growth and success of our team to support our mission of helping our clients.
Requirements:
  • Valid masters-level clinical licensure in the State of Maine as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). These licenses must be at least conditionally licensed, ideally fully-issued.
  • One year (1) of experience preferred in providing individual therapy and group sessions. Equivalent experience in behavioral health can also be considered.
  • Must be able to demonstrate competency in recognizing the unique needs and behavior of clients.
  • A masters degree in a relevant field is required, ideally in psychology, counseling, social work, or another clinical field.
Responsibilities:
  • Participates in and leads therapeutic groups and activities and functions as an active member of the team.
  • Demonstrates clinical treatment in compliance with JCAHO standards.
  • Recognizes the unique needs and behaviors of the clients.
  • Assists in preparation of utilization review monthly reports.
  • Provides assessments with empathy and concern for clients and arrives at accurate diagnoses by the end of the evaluation session and updates when new information and clinical status warrant.
  • Provides clinical consultation and guidance to staff consistent with their needs.
  • Assists program supervisor to perform chart reviews.
  • Takes a lead role in the coordination and assessment of all intakes and referrals to assigned programs.
  • Acts as liaison with all referral sources, and community-based services.
Pay: For a part-time position, pay ranges from $30/hour to $38/hour depending on experience, education, and licensure. Should someone be interested in joining us full-time, this would be a salaried position with full-benefits with base base between $55,000/year and $80,000/year depending on the same criteria. If part-time, benefits are not offered.
Schedule: For a part-time position, the hours could be 4pm to 9pm OR 5pm to 10pm (slightly flexible as long as they encompass 6-9 and time to see clients).
For a full-time position, since you will be supporting evening programming, applicants should be ideally available to work between the hours of 1pm to 9pm at least one night a week. All other shifts will be from 8am to 4pm. There may be some flexibility to this schedule on a case by case basis.
