Reporting to theVice Presidentfor Enrollment Managementand serving on the Enrollment Leadership Team,theAssociateDirector ofAdmissionsand Enrollment Communications Managerwillleadthedevelopment,execution, and assessmentofstrategiccommunicationsthat supportrecruitment,admission, and enrollment goals for Bryn Mawr's undergraduate and graduate programs.With the support of two admissions staff and two student internswho directly support communications work, the Associate Directorwillmanagemultichannelcommunicationsinitiatives throughout the cycle, ensuringtimely, relevant,integratedcontent forkeyaudiencesacrossemail campaigns, admissions-related websites,print and digital assets, andundergraduatesocial mediaplatforms.The Associate Director willcollaborate closelywithenrollment arealeadsas well ascolleagues in theOffice ofCommunicationsandMarketingwhoprovide creative support andadviseonmarketing strategy.

This full-time, exempt position hasan anticipatedschedule of 35 hours per week, year-round (1,820 hoursannualized).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Execute Enrollment Communications Campaigns.Collaborate with the Office of Communications and Marketing, the Vice President for Enrollment Management, and enrollment area leads to manage, develop and execute strategic communications plansand assetsthat support undergraduate and graduatestudent recruitment,admissionand enrollment goals.
  • Planand ImplementIntegrated Multi-Channel Communications Calendar.Develop and oversee a contentand productioncalendarinclusive of web updates, print and digital assets, andundergraduatesocial media content.
  • Analyzeand OptimizeCommunications Performance.Analyzeengagement data to refine messaging,timing, and audience/segmentation.Stay abreast of enrollment marketing trends.Lead micro-positioning communications initiatives in support of cycle goals.
  • Superviseand ManageEnrollment CommunicationsTeam.Coordinate and oversee the workoftwo Assistant Directors of Admissions and two student internswhodrivesocial media strategy,emailcampaign work,external platform content,anddigital asset creation, ensuringalignmentwith institutional messaging, brand standards, and enrollment priorities.
  • Oversee Enrollment Communications Budget.Manage annual budget of $56,000
  • In addition tomanaginga definedrecruitment and readingterritory for Undergraduate Admissions, 2-3weeks of travel per year isrequired.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, master's degree preferred.
  • 5+years of admissions experience in a postsecondary setting with experience in enrollment communications.
  • Demonstrated outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge ofenrollmentmarketing and communicationstrends.
  • Demonstrated success in developing comprehensive communication campaigns,developing print materials,website strategy, professional writing, editing, proofreading, and using social media.
  • Project management and organizational skills, including ability to set priorities, manage simultaneous projects, and complete projectsin a timely manner.
  • Ability to work in a tactful and collaborative manner with members of the Enrollment Leadership Team and other College partners.
  • Experience cultivating relationships with outside vendors including print and digital platforms (e.g.PeerPal, Intersect, Niche, etc.).
  • KnowledgeofproficiencywithTechnolutionsSlate, basic knowledge of HTML andliquid markuppreferred but notrequired.
  • Experience with analytics and appreciation for data-informed decision-making.
  • Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Mustpossessthe willingness and ability to work outside of a conventionalworkweek.
  • Must be able to perform overnight travel andpossessa valid driver'slicense.
  • Successful completion of satisfactory background checks.
