Overview
The Full Stack Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both client-side and server-side components of web applications, with a primary focus on creating high-quality demo sites that showcase product capabilities and user experiences. This role bridges the gap between frontend interfaces and backend systems, ensuring seamless integration, performance optimization, and scalability across the entire stack. In addition to demo site development, the Full Stack Developer will contribute to core application features, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements when demo-related work is not required. The ideal candidate possesses a holistic understanding of web technologies, thrives in agile environments, and can deliver complete, end-to-end solutions that meet business and technical objectives.
Responsibilities
  • Demo Site Development (Primary Focus): Design and build interactive, visually compelling demo sites that effectively showcase product capabilities and deliver exceptional user experiences. Ensure rapid turnaround, scalability, and maintainability for demo environments.
  • System Architecture and Design: Architect scalable, maintainable full-stack solutions, making strategic decisions on technology choices, service boundaries, data flow, and integration patterns for both demo sites and core applications.
  • End-to-End Feature Delivery: Implement complete features across the stack, including frontend UI, backend services, APIs, and database integration, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
  • Technical Standards and Best Practices: Establish and enforce coding standards, architectural patterns, API design guidelines, and development best practices across frontend and backend components.
  • Performance Optimization: Design and implement solutions for high-performance systems, including caching strategies, database tuning, and frontend optimization for fast-loading demo sites and production applications.
  • Cloud Infrastructure & Deployment: Build and manage cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for demo sites and applications, leveraging serverless architectures, microservices, and cost-effective deployment strategies.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement robust security measures across all layers, including authentication, data encryption, and compliance with organizational and industry standards.
  • Technology Evaluation & Innovation: Research emerging technologies, lead proof-of-concepts, and recommend tools and frameworks that enhance demo site quality and overall development efficiency.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to understand demo requirements, define technical specifications, and align solutions with business objectives.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain clear technical documentation for demo site architecture, deployment processes, and reusable components to ensure scalability and knowledge transfer.

Skills & Competencies:
  • Full Stack Architecture & System Design: Ability to design scalable, maintainable architectures spanning frontend, backend, databases, and cloud infrastructure with strong focus on performance, security, and long-term evolution.
  • Frontend Development (React/Vue): Expertise in modern frontend frameworks and patterns, including micro-frontends, server-side rendering/static generation (Next.js, Nuxt.js), advanced state management, and performance optimization for demo sites and production apps.
  • Backend Development (Node.js/Go/Java): Strong experience in building high-performance backend services, microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and API gateway patterns.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Proficiency in GCP services, including serverless architectures), and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform).
  • Database Design & Optimization: Skilled in designing and optimizing relational and NoSQL databases, implementing sharding, replication, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Security & Compliance: Knowledge of OWASP best practices, authentication/authorization patterns, encryption, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR).
  • Performance Engineering: Ability to optimize performance across the stack-frontend rendering, backend profiling, database queries, caching strategies (Redis, CDN), and load testing.
  • API Design & Integration: Expertise in REST API design, versioning strategies, and third-party integrations.
  • Project Management: Ability to break down complex initiatives, manage dependencies, and keep projects on track.
  • Collaboration & Empathy: Creates a psychologically safe environment, resolves conflicts constructively, and fosters team growth.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development, delivering end-to-end solutions across frontend and backend.
  • Experience implementing complete features across the stack, including frontend UI, backend services, APIs, and database integration.
  • Exposure to collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and DevOps engineers.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
