Job description

Job Summary:
Converteo is an elite enterprise AI consultancy looking to expand its North American footprint. They are seeking a Senior Product Design Engineer to design innovative solutions for premium brands, focusing on creating high-quality interactive designs and prototypes using AI-powered tools.
Responsibilities:
• Own, architect, and stand up our core Design System in code.
• High-fidelity gloss-up of 4–5 existing demos to meet premium visual and brand standards.
• Conceive, code, and deploy 4–5 net-new, highly interactive demos from scratch to serve as primary commercial assets.
• Build and evolve the design system: Design reusable component libraries that work seamlessly in Figma and in code.
• Build POCs and prototypes, hands-on.
• Validate before the production build.
• Hand off to engineering.
• Lead delivery — core and client.
• Inform product and platform strategy.
• Drive reuse and the productization loop.
• Lead the build pod.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Must be a US Citizen. (Sponsorship or non-citizen hiring is unavailable due to client security frameworks).
• 0-to-1 execution mindset: You love the chaos of a blank canvas. You are energized by turning abstract, ambiguous ideas into functional software overnight, rather than optimizing existing legacy platforms.
• Designer first, engineer by growth: A product designer with a strong visual foundation. You've designed complex software and learned to code—or use tools to do so—because you want to ship designs without waiting on a backlog.
• Expert in design tools and systems thinking: Figma, design systems, component libraries, and interaction patterns are second nature. You understand how individual components combine into cohesive experiences at scale.
• AI-native designer who builds in code: You use AI coding assistants like Cursor, Claude Code, v0, Bolt, and Replit to rapidly translate concepts into working, near-production-grade prototypes. You obsess over micro-interactions, spacing, color, and transitions.
• Shipped AI-native features to production: You understand the unique challenges of building with LLMs—designing for non-determinism, creating delightful experiences around unpredictable outputs, and innovating UX patterns that make AI feel intuitive.
• User-centered, outcome-driven: You ground design decisions in research and feedback, own the experience from sketch to ship, and balance user needs with business and technical constraints.
Company:
Converteo is a consulting firm specializing in improving the performance of e-business clients. It is a sub-organization of Dekuple. Founded in 2007, the company is headquartered in Paris, FRA, with a team of 501-1000 employees. The company is currently Late Stage.
