Job description

  • Gain knowledge and experience required for promotion to a supervisor (management) position.
  • Learn line and staff functions, operations, management viewpoints, and company policies and practices that affect each phase of the business.
  • Observe experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for performance of departmental duties.
  • Demonstrate increasing proficiency and expertise with managerial responsibilities.
  • All other relevant duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university, obtained within the past 12 months.
  • Preferred degree in Agricultural, Environmental or Safety Sciences with an interest in Poultry.
  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent technology, computer, analytical, and data collection skills.
  • Motivated self-starter with desire to learn, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
