Role: Controls Development Engineer - Ride Height Suspension Controls
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in automotive controls development, embedded software, or chassis systems engineering.
• Strong knowledge of chassis controls domain, with experience in suspension controls, ride height control, damping control, or related vertical motion functions.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle dynamics, control theory, estimation methods, and closed-loop control system behavior for automotive applications.
• Hands-on experience with MATLAB and Simulink for controls development, analysis, and validation.
• Working knowledge of Embedded C and automotive embedded software development practices.
• Strong experience with Rhapsody for MBSE, including requirements of modeling, behavior modeling, interface modeling, and traceability-driven development workflows.
• Familiarity with Ethernet protocol and automotive communication/networked control environments.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Design and develop ride height suspension control algorithms for advanced chassis applications.
• Apply vehicle dynamics and control theory to define, tune, and optimize closed-loop suspension control behavior.
• Develop model-based control logic using MATLAB and Simulink for requirements- driven algorithm implementation.
• Use Rhapsody-based MBSE methods to support behavioral modeling, interface definition, and traceability between requirements and control logic.
• Analyze simulation and test results to refine control performance, robustness, and functional behavior.
• Support validation of control algorithms across SIL and co-simulation.
• Collaborate with systems, software, calibration, and validation teams to mature algorithms into production-feasible solutions.
• Analyze and refine control algorithm performance based on simulation and vehicle validation results.
