Construction Quality Control Manager (CQCM)
Jacksonville, FL (Naval Station Mayport) | $110,000-$145,000 + Benefits
Lead quality on mission-critical construction projects. RQ Construction is hiring an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager (CQCM) to join our Field Operations team supporting Department of Defense projects in Jacksonville, FL and the surrounding area.
In this role, you'll oversee all aspects of project quality, ensuring work meets contract requirements, industry standards, and client expectations. You'll develop and manage project-specific Quality Control Plans, maintain accurate documentation, conduct inspections, and collaborate with project teams to deliver successful projects safely, on time, and with exceptional quality.
This is a full-time, on-site position. Local candidates are preferred; however, qualified out-of-area candidates are encouraged to apply. Relocation or travel assistance may be considered.

What You'll Bring
  • 10+ years of commercial construction experience in roles such as Superintendent, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Quality Control Manager
  • 2+ years of experience as a Construction Quality Control Manager
  • Current USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors certification (RMS/QCS experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of quality control processes, construction documentation, and contract compliance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with RMS/QCS and Viewpoint/Vista is a plus
  • EM 385-1-1 Level 1, OSHA 30, CPR, and First Aid certifications (training available if needed)
  • Additional inspection certifications, trade licenses, or LEED credentials are a plus
