Job description

Construction Quality Control Manager (CQCM)
Jacksonville, FL - Naval Station Mayport | $110,000-$145,000 + Benefits
RQ Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager (CQCM) to join our Field Operations team in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you'll play a critical part in maintaining the quality and successful delivery of complex Department of Defense construction projects.
As the CQCM, you'll take ownership of the project's quality control program from planning through completion. You'll ensure construction activities comply with contract requirements, applicable standards, specifications, and customer expectations. This includes developing and maintaining project-specific Quality Control Plans, coordinating inspections, managing quality documentation, and partnering closely with the project team to identify and resolve issues before they impact the project.
This is a full-time, on-site position. Candidates local to Jacksonville are preferred, but qualified professionals outside the area are encouraged to apply. Relocation and/or travel assistance may be available.

What You'll Need
  • 10+ years of commercial construction experience in positions such as Superintendent, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Quality Control Manager
  • At least 2 years of experience serving as a Construction Quality Control Manager
  • Current USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors certification
  • Experience with RMS/QCS preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction quality control practices, project documentation, specifications, and contract compliance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with RMS/QCS and Viewpoint/Vista is a plus
  • EM 385-1-1 Level 1, OSHA 30, CPR, and First Aid certifications; training may be provided when needed
  • Additional inspection certifications, trade-specific licenses, or LEED credentials are advantageous
