Position: RN Charge Nurse
Location: Rochelle Park, NJ
Shift: Full-Time | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Salary: Up to $110,000

Job Description:

Chateau Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced RN Charge Nurse to provide clinical leadership and oversight on the overnight shift. This role is ideal for a strong RN leader who can manage staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver high-quality resident care in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead nursing staff, including CNAs, ensuring quality care and adherence to policies

  • Oversee daily clinical operations, including medication administration and treatments

  • Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians, families, and leadership

  • Ensure accurate charting, documentation, and compliance with state and federal regulations

  • Participate in admissions, discharges, and care planning processes

  • Conduct rounds to ensure nursing standards and resident needs are met

  • Support Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including MDS, Social Services, and Dietary

  • Respond to emergencies and provide direct patient care as needed

Requirements:
  • Current, active RN license in New Jersey

  • Prior leadership or Charge Nurse experience in long-term care preferred

  • Strong clinical, organizational, and decision-making skills

  • Ability to supervise staff and manage a unit independently

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
