Russell Feed & Supply

Store Manager

Fort Worth, TX

We operate under the simple idea that animals make better people, and we’re here to help make better animals.

Does promoting and supporting folks in your community with their agricultural endeavors, whether through an urban garden, backyard chicken coop, FFA project, or 1,000 head cattle ranch, excite you? Are you a self-starter, passionate, not afraid to get your hands dirty and always game to give 110%?

If this sounds like you, you might be a fit for the Russell Feed & Supply team.

Company:

Russell Feed & Supply is a locally-owned and operated feed store chain in the North Texas area. Russell Feed currently has 10 locations, a distribution center and offices, and a hay distribution center. Mission Statement:

To be a leader in retail agribusiness through aggressive merchandising, innovative products, superior customer service and ethical business practices while providing value to our customers, employees, community and ownership.

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
  • Decision-making and delegation ability
  • Computer skills- point of sale system and cash register experience, Microsoft Excel skills a plus

It is the responsibility of the manager to ensure a safe atmosphere on a daily basis for all people who come in contact with the store. This includes but is not limited to daily patrolling the store for safety hazards, weekly safety briefings with staff, and immediately identifying and correcting anything that could be a risk
  • Effectively hire, train, manage and motivate a store staff
  • Open and close the store, as well as complete required daily paperwork, cash handling and bank deposits
