What You’ll Do:

As a Business Intelligence Data Analyst, you will support enterprise reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will partner with business stakeholders to transform complex banking, financial, operational, risk, and compliance data into actionable insights and scalable reporting solutions.


Data Analytics & Business Insights

  • Analyze banking, financial, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and business opportunities
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, define KPIs, and translate business needs into analytical solutions
  • Build and enhance dashboards, scorecards, and executive reports using Power BI
  • Deliver timely, accurate, and meaningful insights to support strategic and operational decision-making


Data Engineering & Platform Management

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to support reporting and analytics
  • Support data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows using Microsoft data platforms and related services
  • Contribute to the design, build, and support of Microsoft-based data warehouse solutions and reporting layers
  • Assist with documenting and maintaining reporting architecture, data flows, and technical processes


Data Quality, Governance & Compliance

  • Validate data accuracy and reconcile datasets across systems to ensure reporting integrity
  • Document data definitions, transformation logic, warehouse structures, business rules, and reporting processes
  • Support regulatory, audit, and risk-reporting needs common to banking environments
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend scalable, data-driven solutions
  • Promote strong data governance, standardization, and compliance practices across reporting environments


Requirements


What You’ll Bring:


Basic Qualifications/Skills:

  • Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, or data engineering roles, preferably within banking, financial services, or another regulated industry
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Finance, or a related field preferred


Technical Skills & Competencies:

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, or Azure data tools and familiarity with banking, financial, risk, or compliance data structures preferred
  • Exposure to data modeling and business intelligence best practices preferred
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including query development, stored procedures, and data transformation
  • Experience building dashboards and visualizations using Power BI
  • Knowledge of Microsoft-based data platforms, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes
  • Understanding of data governance, reporting controls, and data quality best practices
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience supporting regulatory, operational, or audit reporting within a banking or financial environment preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay Range: $80,500 to $100,000 annually

Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
