Job description

Summary:

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Blinds Installation Technician to join our team. This position focuses on the professional installation of a wide variety of commercial and residential window blinds. The ideal candidate will have experience with basic construction practices, be confident using hand tools, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily installation plans as directed by the lead installer
  • Install various types of blinds, including vertical blinds, horizontal blinds, roller shades, and motorized systems
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively (e.g., drills, screwdrivers, laser levels, hammers, tape measures)
  • Communicate clearly with the lead installer and team members on-site
  • Read and interpret basic installation diagrams and architectural drawings
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship and professional presentation at every job site
  • Track and report daily progress and punch list items to the Operations team
  • Safely lift up to 50 lbs and perform overhead work, including on ladders or elevated platforms (up to 50 feet)
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols and report any unsafe practices or conditions

Travel Requirements:

This role primarily requires local travel during business hours. However, occasional overnight or out-of-area travel may be necessary based on project needs.


Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. While prior experience installing blinds or working in a related trade (such as carpentry or electrical work) is preferred, we are willing to train motivated candidates. Applicants should demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude, be

A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required. OSHA 10 is recommended, but we will train the right candidate if needed.
