Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Veterinarian to join the team!   Our privately-owned successful clinics in beautiful northwest New Jersey promotes a family atmosphere with long -tenured experience staff members. You will primarily diagnose and treat dogs and cats; however, we also provide care for birds, reptiles and small mammals. Daily responsibilities will include performing wellness and illness care, surgeries, dentistry, prescribing medications, and spaying/neutering. If you are passionate about providing exceptional animal care, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities 
  • Provide routine examinations
  • Diagnose illnesses and recommend treatment 
  • Perform surgeries including dental, ophthalmic, and mass removals
  • Administer vaccinations
  • Perform spay and neuter surgeries
  • Prescribe medication
  • Advise pet owners on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and overall pet well-being
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree
  • Previous work experience as a veterinarian preferred but new graduates considered
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple terms
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Availability to take evening, weekend, or on-call shifts when necessary (no overnight on-call)
  • Patience and a love for animals
