CDL Class A Truck Driver - $28-$32/hr. - Home Weekends
Kilwins is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver based in the Indianapolis, Indiana, area to deliver Kilwins products to our franchise and company-owned stores throughout our Southeast region, including Tennessee, North Carolina, and Georgia.
Products originate from our Petoskey, Michigan Distribution Center, and this role plays a key part in ensuring stores receive their deliveries safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Our drivers play an important role in helping Kilwins stores create joyful experiences for customers every day by delivering the products that allow them to Deliver Happiness.
This position includes overnight travel Sunday through Thursday, with lodging and meal allowances provided.

What You'll Do
  • Safely operate company CDL trucks delivering Kilwins products to franchise and company stores
  • Load and unload trailers, ensuring merchandise arrives in good condition at the correct location and scheduled delivery time
  • Plan efficient delivery routes using maps, routing tools, and electronic logging systems while adjusting for weather, traffic, and road conditions
  • Schedule and coordinate pick-ups and drop-offs within and outside the State of Michigan
  • Communicate delivery timing with store teams
  • Maintain DOT and FMCSA compliance, including electronic logs and required documentation
  • Maintain paperwork related to truck and trailer maintenance, including inspection reports, logbooks, and receipts
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Review loads with the shipping and receiving department prior to departure
  • Report damaged items, delivery issues, or discrepancies to the Logistics Manager
  • Operate electric pallet jacks, lift gates, forklifts, hand carts, and other material handling equipment
  • Represent Kilwins by demonstrating our Core Values, Core Purpose, Core Operating Standards, and Brand Promise

Qualifications
  • CDL Class A license required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read maps and determine best routes based on road and weather conditions
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Mechanical aptitude for basic diagnosis of equipment or safety issues
  • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, lift gates, and other material handling equipment

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to navigate stairs repeatedly using a heavy hand cart during store deliveries
  • Ability to safely load and unload merchandise during delivery routes
  • Must wear steel-toed boots (company reimbursement provided)
