EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN (EMT)
For 30 years, On Time has led the industry in all medical transportation services and is the proud partner of Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health System. We are seeking compassionate and caring emergency medical technician (EMTs) who are interested in full-time and part-time opportunities, to provide medical transportation as emergency medical technicians (EMTs) to provide patient care and drive ambulances. On Time provides extensive training to those who are already certified and to those who are interested in entering the emergency medical services (EMS) field at this crucial time.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
• Pay rate $22.60-$23.75 based on experience

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Provides basic life support, including patient assessment, airway management, use of the automatic defibrillator
• Drive ambulances, transporting patients to and from various medical facilities and/or home in non-emergency and emergency
situations.
• Providing oxygen therapy to patient.
• Lifting stretcher and securing patient for transport
• Communicate with patient, caregivers and family members in a compassionate manner.
• Communicate with medical facility staff regarding patient
• Regularly communicates with dispatcher regarding transportation status and to provide critical information.
• Document transportation activities, ensuring accurate information regarding the transportation is documented.
• Maintain clean and orderly vehicle and supplies in the ambulance.
• Cleans and disinfects equipment between patients.
*Recruiter will provide additional details regarding new EMTs course tuition reimbursement eligibility.
Requirements
• EMT Certification Required
• Must have a BLS CPR certification for health care providers. (On Time can provide)
• Driver's License in good standing (if hired as a driver)

Job Requirements:

  • Candidates who are offered a position will be subject to drug screening and employment and legal history inquiries.
  • Must meet LogistiCare approval as a condition of employment.
  • Lift requirements 150 lbs.

Pay Transparency:
The above reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.
The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.
In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for clinical certification pay and/or shift differentials.
