Territory Manager
JOB SUMMARY: This position focuses on settlement prevention for lateral and axial loads using low-density cellular concrete and settlement correction for geotechnical polyurethane applications, targeting the heavy civil, transportation, and commercial markets. The role involves seeking out new strategic relationships and maintaining current ones with specifiers and contractors to drive profitable gross profit growth. The Territory Manager will need to deliver value to customers and stakeholders through technical expertise and developing a comprehensive understanding of CJGeo's markets and solutions. This knowledge will help position CJGeo as a sought-after expert in addressing unique challenges related to lateral and axial load reduction, settlement, and geotechnical and structural constructability problems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• 10% - Utilize company-provided online resources such as bid sites, social media, Google, and other research tools to identify new opportunities, contacts, and accounts, and discover strategic market growth and development opportunities.
• 50% - Engage with new prospects by phone, virtually, and in person to uncover pain points, present solutions, discuss budgets, and ultimately drive customers toward a decision.
• 15% - Collaborate closely with estimators during the estimating process to understand scope and clearly communicate proposed solutions to customers. Work seamlessly with project managers once a project is sold to ensure proper transition from sales to operations.
• 25% - Follow up and maintain the current and future customer database in CRM and other company-wide systems to ensure accurate customer data and a comprehensive selling approach.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Education: College degree required.
• Certification: EIT or P.E. required
• Work Experience: Engineering, transportation or heavy civil background required.
• Sales Experience: Required

• Some travel between client locations within a pre-assigned geographic territory for sales functions, including project visits, technical presentations to specifiers and clients, and onsite demonstrations. Navigate various surfaces, such as highways and heavy civil construction sites.
• Requires driving up to ten hours per day, attending in-person events such as tradeshows and conferences, which may occur outside of normal working hours and require lifting up to 50 lbs. Some overnight auto, rail, and/or air travel is expected.
OVERTIME CLASSIFICATION: Exempt.
