Job description

Position Title: Equipment Delivery Driver
Compensation Range: $23.00 to $27.00 based on experience
Department: Warehouse
Location: Horace, ND, USA

The Opportunity
This is a non-CDL position that utilizes a 1-ton company-provided pickup truck. Deliveries are made using a 32' gooseneck trailer, as well as assembled products such as augers, conveyors, and other miscellaneous agricultural equipment. Experience in pulling trailers is required.
Overnight travel is minimal (approximately 25 nights per year), and all related travel expenses are covered by AGI.
Responsibilities:
  • Unload and load flatbed trailers consisting of agricultural equipment, including non-traditional, unpalletized, and/or irregularly shaped freight
  • Operate a forklift, tractor, company vehicles, and other equipment as needed to perform the job
  • Accurately read and document pick lists to pull and fulfill customer orders
  • Keep the Branch Manager informed of work status, workload, potential issues, and progress on work assignments
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly manner and follow all prescribed safety regulations
  • Troubleshoot equipment and make necessary emergency repairs when possible
  • Utilize downtime productively in other warehouse support positions

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of DOT guidelines and how they apply to this position (required)
  • 1-3 years of forklift experience; prior certification preferred
  • Prior experience hauling oversized farm equipment or a background in machinery dealership or manufacturing is highly preferred.
  • Equipment/trailer operation: 1 year (required)
  • Ability to interpret a pick list and document order fulfillment

Although base salary for this position falls within the above posted range, final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
