Job Details
Join Jefferson Health's nocturnist team, providing dedicated overnight inpatient care at Jefferson Lansdale Hospital. This role involves working one week on/one week off and offers a supportive, collaborative environment with a sustainable work schedule.
Job Description
Overnight Admissions & Inpatient Care:
Evaluate and admit patients from the ED, conduct night rounds, and manage ongoing inpatient care.
Team Collaboration:
Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams (nursing, specialists, social work) to ensure comprehensive transitions at shift change.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain accurate and timely charting of histories, physicals, daily notes, and care plans while ensuring compliance and proper coding.
Schedule:
One week on three weeks off
Qualifications
  • MD or DO, board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine
  • Completion of an accredited residency program
  • Must hold or be eligible for a Pennsylvania medical license and DEA registration
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
