Job description

Responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of the Company network and computer hardware/software at an intermediate level necessary to assure the safe, secure, and reliable operation of network equipment, and to adhere to all required Company and/or regulatory compliance standards.  Provides solutions to problems and make recommendations to improve facilities or procedures.
Expected to align personal goals with the Mission, Vision, and Values of OVEC-IKEC.
Responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of Cisco networking equipment and computer hardware/software necessary for ensuring compliance with standards.  Performs daily tasks to maintain and monitor network equipment performance.
Works with other IS employees and other departments in the Company, vendors, auditors, and others to install and maintain computer, network, WiFi, UPS, and camera systems.  
Provides documentation for compliance and assists with training others.
Provides intermediate to advanced support for installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of servers, routers, switches, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, WiFi controllers and access points, cameras, network cabling and diagnostic equipment, and other equipment as assigned using Cyber standards best practices.
Performs intermediate troubleshooting analysis of the Company network, servers, workstations, and schedules maintenance coordinating via department/company wide.
 
Good interpersonal and communications skills working well within a team concept.

Intermediate to advanced analytic abilities/knowledge of switches, routers, WiFi controllers, access points, other Cisco networking equipment in an ISE environment, and UPS operations.
Assists others to ensure that regulatory standards, strategy, documentation, and associated evidence are aligned and consistent with OVEC-IKEC policy and strategy.
Demonstrates the highest standards of ethical behavior and supports the Company's Corporate Compliance policy.
Assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Administers prescribed Company personnel policies and practices.

Bachelor's degree in management information systems, information technology, computer science, applied networking systems administration or related discipline and a minimum of three years related work experience.
An intermediate to advanced knowledge of coordinating essentials for Cisco networking, Windows Server and PCs, SolarWinds for network administration, and general UPS operations
